Taking Readings1. Push red button.2. Lower probe into well. When probe touches water, green light turns on and beeper sounds.3. Hold cable against reference and read depth to water from cable marks (below one meter will be measured by using the measuring Tap). Example: Top of well is your reference. When probe touches water, hold cable against top of well. Then note which cable mark aligns with top of well. Then switch off.Replacing BatteryThe indicator uses one 9 volt battery. Battery must be replaced if indicator fails to beep and flash when power-on button is pushed.To replace the battery1. Turn battery holder plate.2. Remove the one 9 volt battery and insert new one with + terminals up, toward the cap.
